How do I mark winners in buidlbox?

 Winners can be selected at any time during the judging period! Winners will be notified by email and displayed on the hackathon landing page once the hackathon organizer announces winners.

⏰ Reminder: The hackathon landing page will only display the winners after the hackathon organizer has enabled the winners' page.

Note: Ensure you complete the judging process for all the projects submitted to your  challenges before selecting the winners. Only Guidl Admins can mark winners in a hackathon!

How to navigate to the “Winners” section

1. Log in to https://app.buidlbox.io and go to your Guidl.
2. From your Guidl Dashboard in the “Home” tab, select the Hackathon.
3. You’ll be prompted to select the Guidl you are representing. 
4. From the Hackathon Dashboard, select the “Winners” tab on the left side menu.
5. Select your challenge from the dropdown menu.

Challenges with Ranked Winners:

• Go to the project(s) you want to mark as winners, and click the “Add Winners” button.
• Reorder the rankings and adjust the prize amounts if needed.
• When finished, click “Finalize Results”

Prize Pool Challenges:

• Enter how many prizes you want to add to the reward pool, then select “Add Prizes”
• Go to the projects you want to include in the prize pool and select “Add Winners”
• When finished, click “Finalize Results” 

Announce Winners - Showcase Winners & Winning Projects 

To showcase the winners and winning projects on the hackathon landing page, select "Announce Winners" located on the "Home" tab in the hackathon dashboard.

Note: Winners will be displayed on the hackathon landing page after the hackathon organizer enables the winners page.

 

Once the Winners have been announced, they will be visible on the hackathon landing page for everyone to see! Winners will receive a notification letting them know that they have been selected as a winner of a specific challenge. 

Downloading the Winners Data CSV

As a sponsor you can download the Winners Data in CSV format under the Metrics section in the Guidl dashboard. This will give you all the information you need to then advance with paying out the winners accordingly. 

Note: Paying out participants on buidlbox is not possible at this time. All payouts must be completed outside of the buidlbox platform.
