Setting the Hackathon Schedule
The dates you choose for your hackathon will determine the entire flow of the event. There are two important dates that you should set as soon as you create the hackathon.

Submission Schedule
These dates refer to the time period when participants can turn in submissions. Once this deadline is reached, participants will no longer be able to edit or submit projects, and no new submissions will be accepted.
The submission dates can be set on the Schedule section under the Manage Hackathon tab of the Hackathon Dashboard by clicking on the Submission Dates box and selecting the start date and end date for the hackathon.
To select the start time and the end time of the hackathon, you can click on the clock icon and enter the time.
Tip: We do not recommend selecting 00:00 as the start or end time. In this case, you can select 23:59 pm as the time instead.
Note: Platform time is set in UTC timezone.
Judging Schedule
Judging dates refer to the time period available for judges to review and score submissions. We recommend a judging period of one week to review submissions and determine the winner. You can set your judging period under the Schedule section under the Manage Hackathon tab on the Hackathon dashboard.
The Judging dates can be set on the Schedule tab of the Hackathon Dashboard by clicking on the Judging Dates box and selecting the start date and end date for the judging.
To select the start time and the end time of the judging period, you can click on the clock icon and enter the time.
Tip: We do not recommend selecting 00:00 as the start or end time. In this case, you can select 23:59 pm as the time instead.
Note: Platform time is set in UTC timezone.
