Why Collect Feedback?
Gathering feedback from hackathon participants is crucial to understanding their experience, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring future events are even more successful. The feedback collected will also be integrated into DevPulse, providing insights into builder sentiment and engagement.
Follow these simple steps to create and customize a feedback form for your hackathon:
Step 1: Access the Hackathon Dashboard

Navigate to the Hackathon Dashboard in your admin panel.

Select "Manage Hackathon" for the event you want to configure.
Step 2: Go to the Feedback Form Section

In the menu, locate and click on "Feedback Form" to begin setup.
Step 3: Add Questions to the Feedback Form

Click "View Template Questions" to browse and add questions from our pre-set feedback template.

Alternatively, click the "+" button to create your own custom questions.
Step 4: Organize Your Questions

Use the drag-and-drop function to reorder questions based on priority or flow.
Step 5: Preview the Survey

Click "Preview" to see how the survey will appear to participants.
Step 6: Save the Feedback Form

Once you’ve finalized your questions, click "Save" to confirm your setup.
How Participants Access the Feedback Form
The Feedback Form will automatically appear when a participant submits a project for the hackathon on Buidlbox. Encouraging participants to complete this form ensures valuable insights that can improve future hackathons.
By leveraging DevPulse, you’ll also have a comprehensive view of builder sentiment, allowing you to measure engagement and refine your hackathon strategy for even better outcomes!
